Manor ISD Partners With Austin Community College Adobe Acrobat Required
Austin Community College in partnership with Manor ISD will open a Manor Center in August 2010. Classes will be offered Monday through Thursday nights at Manor High School in the "G-Wing" near the Performing Arts Center starting August 23rd. These classes are open to anyone in the community who wishes to continue their education.

Manor ISD Launches "RETHINKING STUDENT SUCCESS" Initiative Adobe Acrobat Required
The Manor Independent School District is launching a new initiative that will assist students in closing their academic gaps in certain content areas. This initiative, Rethinking Student Success, will be a component of the Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) program and will begin this school year.

MISD Dropout Prevention Summit Adobe Acrobat Required
The Manor Independent School District is hosting a Dropout Prevetion Summit for business and community leaders to raise awareness about the dropout crisis and how it affects the community. The theme of the summit is "Lend A Helping Hand" and will be held on September 17, 2010, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM in the Manor ISD Central Administration building (10335 Hwy 290 East; Manor TX 78653). Breakfast will be served.

Hundreds of families were served at The 10th Annual Resource Fair/School Supply Drive Adobe Acrobat Required
The 10th Annual School Resource Fair and School Supply Distribution event, held at Manor High School on Thursday, August 19th, was a huge success. Representatives from 40 social service agencies, local community organizations and MISD departments provided information about their services and 1,600 school supply packets were distributed to families.
